The deadline for entries for the North/South All-Star event is fast approaching. Oct 21 is the deadline to nominate your senior girl players. As of today, we would not play the event because of the lack of entries. Please nominate your players even if you think they are not worthy. The form link is on the main page (look to your left).  |

The second girl's top ten poll of the year has been posted. The AAAA classification was the only one that had the required number of coaches votes to make it valid. |

I would like to welcome you to our site. We are very excited that the 2009 girls tennis season has begun. All girls coaches need to check that they are registered on the website and submit their 2008 statistics and 2009 schedule to the website. Also, the girls pre-season poll is now open and will close on Friday, August 28. Use the contact link if you have any questions. |

I am glad to announce a new partnership with Dunlop Sports out of Greenville, SC. They will be the new official ball of the SCTCA. Order your balls from Dunlop with following information: Our expectation would be that as many schools as possible use Dunlop balls for their season matches, and we would make these available at $45.60 per case. We will also make one Preferred Player Package available to each team that orders tennis balls from Dunlop for their season. I would like to welcome you to a new school year and the opening of our girl’s season. The SCTCA is here to help you promote high school tennis in South Carolina. There are two important things that I need our coaches to do. 1. The list of coaches has been deleted except for a few that registered in the last 10 days. I need you check the list and if you do not see your name you will need to re-register. 2. If you are a girls coach, the first of four polls for the year is ready for you to vote for your top ten in your classification. To provide our coaches with more information I need you to email your team schedule and a team profile sheet to the site's webmaster. The profile sheet should include the following: - 2008 Overall and Region Record
- # Starters lost
- # Starters returning
- 2008 Playoff finish
